Behind the memes, we are experimenting with technology, community tools and ideas that may gradually become part of the project on the road toward 2028.
Some of it will work. Some of it will be quietly abandoned. That is what building actually looks like, and we would rather show you the real version than a roadmap full of promises nobody intends to keep.
We prefer building first and talking later.
Where TOM comes from
TOM is a Greenland dog crossed with a border collie. Half sled dog, half sheepdog: one half built to pull through weather that has no interest in you, the other half built to keep the group together and count everyone at the end of the day.
It is a fitting mix for what this is. Distance and patience from one side, herding from the other. Add a black fedora, a leather coat and somewhere north of the Arctic Circle to stand, and you have TOM — looking slightly like he knows something you do not. He probably doesn't.
The name came first, from music released under TomOfNorway. The coin came after, as a joke that a few people took seriously enough to keep going.
Something is being built 👀
TOMBOT
TOMBOT is an experimental trading technology currently being developed and tested.
It is not presented as a finished product, and there are no guarantees regarding future performance or integration with $TOM. It may end up being part of this project. It may end up being nothing.
What we will do is tell you what it actually is when there is something to show — not before. No profit screenshots, no equity curves, no "results" that cannot be checked.
